Customer Service Representative
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with courteous service via the telephone and email correspondence
- Respond promptly to requests for service and assistance
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle service/product inquiries
- Responsible for order processing from entry to shipment
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
- Organize workflow to meet customer timeframes
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments, including sales force
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of customer service practices and principles
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels, both verbally as well as written
- Accurate data entry skills
- Strong Math skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus but not required
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable and punctual
- 1-2 years of business-related college courses
- Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and work well with others
Slitter Operator
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive forklift to pick rolls and to place rolls in pallet racking.
- Read and follow job instructions. Follow customer notes.
- Standing/Walking 90% of the day.
- Cut cores to appropriate size – Lifting/Maneuvering 17# max cardboard core.
- Maneuver a pallet jack with up to 3000 lbs. of material.
- Slab off defective material and dispose of the material in a trash can.
- Make proper splices.
- Clean machinery using wipes and wet rags.
- Web slitting machine using a stepstool.
- Set slitting blades using and measure for accuracy.
- Clean and replace slitting blades.
- Tape down material to cores.
- Stock shelves with 15 lb. boxes of tape.
- Enter data into computer.
- Unload rolls from machine to roll tree, done with assistance of the machine.
- Push roll tree from machine.
- Label rolls with proper labels.
- Maneuver an 8 lb. silicone bar into and from machine.
- Stack rolls on a pallet when necessary to help a packer.
- Work efficiently and cooperatively with other staff.
- Contribute your creativity and ideas to company efforts to improve everything we do.
Coater Operator
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate coater with rest of coating team
- Drive forklift to pick up rolls and to place rolls in pallet racking.
- Must be able to accurately count inventory
- Basic data entry
- Test material
- Operate a bander to apply strapping to pallets.
- Cut cores to appropriate sizes.
- Keep work area neat and clean.
- Work efficiently and cooperatively with other staff.
- Contribute your creativity and ideas to company efforts to improve everything we do.
- Observe safety and security procedures. Uses equipment and materials properly
